Chocolate Chip Cookies

This homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe is a classic that never disappoints!

Ingredients

1 cup Butter (softened)
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Hot Water
½ tsp Salt
3 cups AP Flour
2 cups Chocolate Chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together softened butter, sugar, & brown sugar.
Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Once combined, stir in Vanilla.
Dissolve Baking Soda in hot water & add to batter, with salt.
Stir in flour, one cup at a time. Once fully combined, stir in chocolate chips.
Roll tablespoon sized balls of dough and place on non-greased cookie sheet, in 3 rows of 4, to allow for them to spread out when baked.
Cook for 8-10, until beginning to brown slightly at edges.
Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
